Largest Human Peace Sign Event Photo Surrey BC Canada

The First Annual Human Peace Sign Event was a HUGE SUCCESS! The event kicked off without a hitch promptly at Noon and we are more than satisfied with the amazing photo of the peace ring captured by The Vancouver Sun.

Our Annual Human Peace Sign Event is about peace and spreading kindness to all of our global brothers and sisters. We are extremely thankful to everyone that brought food items for the Surrey Food Bank. They left with a full van and huge smiles on their faces.

Kindness is Key Inc. (KiK): Home of the Heartmind Wisdom Inspirational Anthology Collection with a global focus of promoting peace, hope, love, and kindness worldwide is attempting the Guinness World Records 'Largest Human Peace Sign' (LHPS).

6000 participants will secure our record attempt taking place on Saturday, September 21st, 2013 on the University of British Columbia campus. Entertainment begins at 11:00 AM, the Guinness World Records attempt takes place at 2:00 PM and festivities conclude at 5:00 PM.

KiK's first Guinness World Records attempt took place on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Cloverdale Millennium Amphitheatre. It was a wonderful day of family entertainment and joyous celebration with over 700 peace ambassadors.

With photographs taken at last year's event KiK produced a first-class 2012 calendar with net-proceeds benefitting Mercy Ships Charity Hospital. (www.mercyships.ca) (A few commemorative calendars are still available at www.kiklibrary.com.) More than 500 lbs. of non-perishable food items and cash donations were collected for the Surrey Food Bank. As well, the event attracted extensive traditional and social media coverage.

KiK's 2013 Guinness World Records LHPS attempt = 10 times larger! Why?

  • This year, KiK's 2013 Guinness World Records attempt is on a Saturday instead of a Wednesday.
  • This year's event is being held on United Nations International Day of Peace.
  • KiK has moved the location to UBC, ensuring the participation of a large number of students.
  • Many of last's years renowned entertainers are returning and some new performers have been added.
  • Impressed by last year's event, numerous media personalities are eager to ensure KiK and our fellow peace ambassadors reach the Guinness World Record for Largest Human Peace Sign in 2013.
